GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE; RUSS, JOHN
Kiri: yo, I finally
arrived.
Russ: oh my
God.
John: where the heck
you been?
Kiri: I’ve been in a
meeting.
Russ: that’s a good
excuse.
Kiri: yes, that is a
good excuse. I’ve been in
a meeting with the crèche parents for
Leonedies.
John: was he
misbehaving?
Kiri: no actually,
he’s been very well behaved,
he’s been as they put it
a typical super operant. They’re both super
operants and they’re expecting.
Russ: oh
congratulations to them.
John: so when he’s
been behaving himself, you mean he eats the
hamsters whole and spits their tails out?
(John is confusing the son of
Kiri with the daughters
of Tia and Mark who are of two totally
separate races.)
Kiri: no, he doesn’t
eat hamsters, he’s a typical Sirian. He loves
fish, can't hold it down
very well at the moment because he’s too
young. He behaves himself. He is a as they put
it, a good child which made me
laugh because they don’t see him at home and
they said that they can imagine as
they're expecting their second child.
Russ: was
their first one was a super operant
also?
Kiri: yeah uh-huh,
it’s normally the way that it happens.
John: Mark was
telling me about Leonedies putting him in a
bubble and thinking it was a big joke and Mark
almost panicked.
Kiri: I think that
was something that I thought was best not to bring
up in the meeting, it was like a
parents meeting?
Russ: PTA kind
of thing?
Kiri: uh-huh.
John: yeah, yeah, is
it okay with me bringing it up now?
Kiri: oh yeah, I
think it was funny actually looking back on
it. At the time it was…..
John: well I mean I’m
picturing Mark in my mind in this bubble
trying to get out and this small super child
just….
Kiri: well
he wasn’t the only person involved in it.
John: I know, I
know.....
Kiri: he was
in a meta-concert.
Russ:
he was in meta-concert with some other
children.
Kiri: uh-huh, yes the
Cubs.
John: yes but they
blew Mark away temporarily at least.
Kiri: well five
individuals of the same mental strength as an
adult joined together will
overpower an adult.
John: yes, Mark found
that out.
Kiri: uh-huh.
John: did you find it
amusing?
Kiri: yes.
John: did you know
what was going on when the
kids were doing that to him?
Kiri: not originally
no, when I got there I assessed the situation
and I just disrupted the meta-concert. It’s
pretty easy to do actually.
John: why can’t Mark
do that?
Kiri: because he’s
not a powerful coercer like I am.
John: is he a
powerful coercer in the third dimension?
Kiri: he’s got quite
a lot of coercive
ability but compared
to myself, he is limited.
Russ: well
Kiri, I look forward to our work here
coming up with shielding.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: and we
get to a point where I can maintain shielding
on a constant level without having to keep
reinforcing all the time,
especially when like Ashtar is in town.
Kiri: and especially
when you’re up against me.
John: and I’m
assuming the testing will involve me also?
Kiri: uh-huh but it
will be random, very random and it will come
from sources that you
wouldn’t even know.
John: okay and I’m
expecting you’ll be involved more directly….
Kiri: no.
John: then Ashtar
is. I mean would he
test me?
Kiri: oh, not
personally until it came to I think you would
say examination time.
Russ: like this time
I could feel him testing my shields but
unfortunately my shielding needs more work
because I can’t maintain it at
a strong enough level for the entire
time he's talking. Keeps coming on
and off.
John: well it sent
shivers up and down
my spine.
Russ: well he
was just giving you a little,
minor probe.
John: oh yeah.
Russ:
with me
he was a bit more....of a
more.....
John:
serious with you?
Kiri: put it this
way, if he was to probe you at his normal
level for operants up here, you would go
AHHHHH and your head with boil
and I don’t mean that a negative way, I
mean.....
John: my head would
boil?
Kiri: well that’s
what it would feel like.
Russ: yeah I got a
headache from it.
John: it wouldn’t
literally boil would it?
Kiri: no but that’s
what it would feel like.
John:
.......more direct?
Kiri: he's going to try, if
not, he will send
his deputies or he will make a deputy. But for
shielding…..
John: is that
anyone I’ve met?
Kiri: yeah
uh-huh, well he will decide at the time. Anyway
I’ve got to…..
John: and whom
might that be?
Kiri: it could be
myself, he could ask Korton to sit in for him, he
could send another Council member, he could send
anybody or ask anybody that he wishes. After all,
as he once said, he is the base commander.
John: and Ashtar,
is he…..? He seemed to be pleased with everything
overall.
Kiri: I thought
so, uh-huh.
Russ: good luck
with the ski races darling.
Kiri: oh thank
you yes, I leave on Wednesday of next week so I
will be briefly at the next channeling session so
we will deal with what happens then. I believe it
might have to be an early channeling session as
well like 7:30, otherwise I’m going to miss it.
Russ: okay.
John: but the
rest of the gang will be there right?
Kiri: yeah
uh-huh.
John: if you
can’t make it?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Okay, I’m going to step aside and put on the next
person as I am supposed to be ring mistress and I
would like to thank my elder for sitting in for
me.
