SIDE
ONE
(Tia continues on from a conversation that had
already started)
Tia: yes, the sensitivity of felines and canines in
earthquakes.
Russ: you’re just a wealth of information dear.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: a wealth of information.
Tia: oh yes I am.
Russ: uh-huh. Okay, so what’s up tonight my dear?
Tia: oh, well we got a full schedule tonight.
Russ: good, good.
Tia: so without further ado…..
Russ: okay.
Tia: and as you need to get some shut eye….
Russ: no not really, I’m doing pretty good actually
tonight.
Tia: oh that’s good, well you’re working tomorrow?
Russ: uh-huh.
Tia: uh-huh, okey-dokey, so you don’t have to get up
until 9 o’clock.
Russ: uh-huh.
Tia: oh goody, then we can keep you up for a while
longer.
Russ: yes you can.
Tia: uh-huh, okay.
(Tia hums her way to the next speaker)
(Leonedies comes on to discuss
the Conference)
Leonedies: greetings and felicitations Russ and how
are you functioning?
Russ: greetings.
Leonedies: functioning well?
Russ: well quite well, is this Leonedies?
Leonedies: of course.
Russ: of course, it is.
Leonedies: or Daniel of Hades Base.
Russ: as Daniel of Hades Base, yes.
Leonedies: uh-huh. Okay, let us get down and address
the business that I think is important and is at
hand and it is purely my opinion that I feel that it
is important. In doing so we will discuss and look
at the outlying and laying down and pulling together
of individuals for the upcoming conferences and the
importance of this. Now word is slowly seeping
around that there is a conference but how do you
spread the word faster? Certainly by going into chat
rooms is one way, by getting people to go to your
webpage is another but, getting in contact with
other people of other webpages and making a deal, a
compromise much as is laid out in the basic format
for the conferences. Now the conferences have been
set up to discuss how it is best to achieve the same
purpose for the individuals and parties involved.
But getting the word out for the conference on your
planet, pulling together all the channels that are
prepared to be host bodies for this is the hard
part. Now you have a format and a place for the
conferences. You contact René and ask if it would be
possible to place an ad looking for channelers for
the conference. It doesn’t matter if you have six
Pleiadians, five Zetas, one Sirian and so on. The
fact that there is a group of individuals coming
together to represent the various races is the
important factor. This as been stated in the past is
just the start of the beginning of the conferences.
This is basically the discussion on how the
conferences will go. And for each group it is
necessary to lay out what they so desire and what
they think that they want and then you start looking
at making concessions and maneuvering and
manipulation and so on so that all parties are
finally happy and can settle down to the serious
matter at hand. Now the discussions for the
conference to set up may take who knows? 10, 30, 50,
100 years, that is moot, that is a moot point as the
discussions themselves will go on for much longer.
Do you have any questions?
Russ: yes I do.
Leonedies: okay.
Russ: now in my research on different channels to
participate in these conferences, I’m running into a
slight problem with finding that most of the people
who channel, don’t actually channel other races, in
fact, there are very few who actually do. Most of
the people who do channel are things like Galactic
Council, Ashtar, Sananda, various angels, dead
entities, things like that but not really other
races.
Leonedies: well these that......the Galactic
Councils, they channel individuals as well.
Russ: Ashtar Command councils…
Leonedies: uh-huh.
Russ: we’ve already got them represented.
Leonedies: yes, we do. We are well represented.
Russ: yes, very well.
Leonedies: so it could be one-sided to start off
with but as word goes around, it should become more
even. You have to remember that Rome wasn’t burnt in
a day.
Russ: good point.
Russ: what I would like to do, is get one person of
Hades Base…..
Leonedies: uh-huh.
Russ: who can represent the entire conference…..
Leonedies: uh-huh.
Russ: and who could make a very long dissertation
about it and present it in a way that could go into
here. In other words, the channels in here don’t
actually do the same format as we use here where I
ask questions and you answer and……
Leonedies: no, they normally have to go through a
lot of dissertation and ask a brief question.
Russ: long is a good word for it.
Leonedies: uh-huh.
Russ: correct. So what we need is like a very long
dissertation possibly.
Leonedies: I will put out the word to some
colleagues and see what we can come up with.
Russ: okay.
Leonedies: okay? You may get contacted over the
Internet….
Russ: ahh good.
Leonedies: or you may get contacted through our duly
represented…..elected representatives.
Russ: okay.
Leonedies: yes?
Russ: okay. And then do you have a specific role you
have assigned yourself for these conferences or just
a……
Leonedies: as I stated in the past, that will become
clear.
Russ: ahhh, okay. Just checking. Other than that
yeah, it’s looking like we’re ready to start.
Leonedies: Russ, to answer your question, being an
eighth dimensional being inhabiting a sixth
dimensional body speaking through a third
dimensional body, I am like a library. That should
give you enough of a clue. If my auntie says, if
you’re a smart as my auntie says, then all will
become clear and you will be able to deduce what my
function is. But remember your first guesses are not
always the correct guesses, nor are your second,
third, fourth or fifth.
Russ: well what specialties do you specialize in? I
mean everybody else has kind of specialties and I
know you’re a super operant so you kind of
specialize in everything but is there anything
you’re really good at that we can really focus on
sometime?
Leonedies: at a later time.
Russ: all right, fair enough.
Leonedies: now, as it is way past my nap nap time……I
have to keep this persona sometimes you know.
Russ: I do understand, thank you Leonedies…..
Leonedies: uh-huh.
Russ: very wonderful chatting with you.
Leonedies: you’re welcome. It is hard sometimes to
understand for me that a thousand years is a blink
of an eye but an eon at the same time so impatience
sometimes plays a part in it hence the reason why I
talk fast sometimes. Okay?
Russ: all righty, fair enough.
Leonedies: may your path be lit with love and light
and understanding and all the wisdom and knowledge
that you wish will come your way.
Russ: thank you.
(Tia is back to make the first transition)
(Tia says hi in Durondedunn)
Russ: hi Tia.
Tia: it’s funny to watch him climb down off of the
futon and wander out of the pyramid down the
pathway. You know he gets by on three hours of sleep
a night?
Russ: that’s not usual for a child that age.
Tia: no, it’s more like normally three hours of
awake time.
Russ: right.
Tia: okay. Yes?
Russ: when are you going to speak?
Tia: oh I’ll speak towards the end.
Russ: okay.
Tia: uh-huh.
(Omal takes his turn next to
channel)
Omal: greetings and felicitations Russ.
Russ: greetings Omal.
Omal: it is entertaining to watch him.
Russ: I’ll bet it is, I’m not even watching him but
Karra’s feeding me pictures of him still.
Omal: yes, it is entertaining. Now, as we have not
talked in approximately three weeks…..
Russ: uh-huh.
Omal: there is not much to discuss that my colleague
of little stature and giant mind has not covered
that I have been thinking on.
Russ: hmm.
Omal: one thing that has cropped up in that time and
is giving the host headaches literally is the fact
of being able to do probing through the shields and
to be able to get images.
Russ: yeah, he was mentioning something about that
probably up on the base he was doing it at the
station.
Omal: yes, yes.
Russ: what’s up with that?
Omal: it is something that has been heightened due
to contact with somebody that does it as a matter of
course.
Russ: the Bunny Monster.
Omal: the Bunny Monster. Yes, Huna.
I feel that it is not so much of a gift, more of an
awakening of something from the past.
Russ: hmm.
Omal: something that was buried deep within the
host. Now this in itself is a very useful skill, let
us look at it. Being able to receive images from an
individual........now that was a quick answer and
reply, Monka.
Russ: why Monka?
Omal: he does not say.
Russ: hmm.
Omal: but, getting back to the matter at hand. The
ability to probe under somebody shields to receive
pictures….
Russ: oh Monka.
Omal: and be able to correlate the images and use
them. Now there are certain problems that come with
this, the fact that the body will react in ways that
can be confusing. For example, let us say there is
individual that is thinking of something whilst
talking to an individual that can probe. They are
seeing the images that the person is transmitting
and leaking. This will confuse the body’s functions.
It can be used in many, many different ways. For
example, to gauge somebody’s emotional status, to
glean information, to be able to look at an
individual and see what is bothering them and these
are very useful if there is a problem with the
individual or if the individual wishes for something
to happen but does not want to say, wants the person
that is doing the probing to understand and work out
what they are thinking. You have questions.
Russ: uh-huh. First off, it has some drawbacks too.
Omal: yes it does.
Russ: for example you can tell if someone’s lying.
Omal: correct.
Russ: and that doesn’t help with any matters except
that you know they’re lying.
Omal: uh-huh, well I see it as helping.
Russ: okay, but another thing, the body's
subconscious acts on images within your mind.
Omal: correct.
Russ: what happens if it's picking up images from
somebody else’s mine?
Omal: then it reacts on that.
Russ: right, so you’re living someone else’s life
sort of.
Omal: you can.
Russ: uh-huh.
Omal: put it this way, Tia told me, and this is
probably a little embarrassing for the channeler,
that he was talking to a young lady and she was
sexually aroused.
Russ: hmmm.
Omal: so you see the problem?
Russ: uh-huh. Well, if I remember right, it’s the
same, similar thing that happened with the Monk.
(a Sirian college student also known as the "Surf
Monk" who only channeled once while visiting the
base)
Omal: correct.
Russ: he could read the…
Omal: the thought.
Russ: pictures that were leaking off of the various
girls or other entities he was around.
Omal: correct.
Russ: this would be a similar
sort of condition.
Omal: correct.
Russ: now, that’s a good sign though.
Omal: yes it is.
Russ: it's a sign of consciousness being raised.
Omal: correct but also it does have the negative
side of that it will confuse the senses.
Russ: well the negative side is the fact that it’s
being done on a third dimension instead of a higher
dimension which a higher dimension would be able to
this input much better than a lower dimension would
I assume.
Omal: correct or a much lower dimensional being or
lower dimensional being whereas Monk handled it as a
matter of course.
Russ: sure, he's used to that.
Omal: for third dimensional being it could be very
confusing and can lead to problems.
Russ: uh-huh.
Omal: a few psychological ones are confusion,
misinterpreting the images and acting on the
misinterpreted information.
Russ: okay now if that’s true, then because he is
surrounded by higher dimensional beings, it should
be easily remedied by higher dimensional beings able
to work with him and counsel him in the matter of
determining and editing these images.
Omal: well that is why we are running tests.
Russ: hmm, okay.
Omal: unfortunately, even for sixth dimensional and
seventh dimensional beings it can be excruciatingly
painful.
Russ: hmm, why?
Omal: because the inputs have to be…
Russ: I know, I know.....
Omal: yes.
Russ: it's giving me goosebumps already.
Omal: the whole spectrum.
Russ: hmm, okay.
Omal: and unfortunately, when an individual is
capable of doing this, it has to be addressed and
looked at so the pain unfortunately has to be
grinned and bared. No matter how painful, we have to
proceed with it.
Russ: okay.
Omal: now there are ways of dealing with the pain.
We can give medication however, that means that the
period of testing goes on much longer because the
senses are dulled by the medication. We can use
other medication which heightens the experience and
speeds up the learning process however there is
another drawback with that.
Russ: what’s that?
Omal: it intensifies the pain.
Russ: does the pain go away at some point?
Omal: during the testing no.
Russ: oh.
Omal: afterwards it goes back to normal.
Russ: but you’re saying he's getting headaches even
normally?
Omal: hmm, the headaches that he is getting is part
of the testing.
Russ: now, let’s assume this is a great gift, a
wonderful opportunity…
Omal: it is a great gift.
Russ: okay, to experience things that usually only
higher dimensional beings experience.
Omal: uh-huh.
Russ: so therefore he has to look at it from the
point of view of what benefits can be gained on the
third dimensional basis by using it on the third
dimension.
Omal: I am not his counselor or medic….
Russ: ahh.
Omal: you have me in a field that I am unfortunately
not that familiar with.
Russ: ahh.
Omal: if you were talking to somebody like Korton or
Ashtar or even Leonedies, they would have a much
better explanation and understanding of it. I have
been tested and I do have the capability but it was
such a long time ago that I would have to sit and
think about it.
Russ: hmm.
Omal: the best I can describe it is the testing
serves a purpose of learning to control, learning to
find out how extensive the probing capability is. If
the probing capability is very extensive, of course
the pain is even more excruciating because it’s more
intense in the learning. Once having concluded how
it works and how strong the probing capability is,
then the teaching starts.
Russ: uh-huh.
Omal: unfortunately there is a drawback. If it is
determined that he does have a high level of probing
capability, he will no longer be able to be ground
control because of the emotions around him.
Russ: hmm.
Omal: and he seems to enjoy that job tremendously.
Russ: uh-huh. Okay, now what capabilities does this
fall under?
Omal: coercion to a certain extent, healing to a
certain extent, it’s one of those categories that
straddle two or more abilities.
Russ: hmm, sort of on the cusp?
Omal: correct.
Russ: well, I assume it's important so I’ll support
him any way I can.
Omal: yes. Okay, any more questions?
Russ: that’s it for now.
Omal: okay.
Russ: thank you Omal.
Omal: you’re welcome. Live long, prosper and, I’ll
be back.
Russ: okay.
Omal: entry made by first officer Omal.
(Tia has to make a number of these transitions
tonight)
(Tia says hi in Durondedunn)
Russ: hi Tia.
Tia: hey, we are aware of all of that that Omal
discussed.
Russ: oh.
Tia: okay, next speaker. Sit up straight.
Russ: who me?
(Wing Commander Taal is back to
channel)
Taal: attention.
Russ: hey, greetings Taal.
Taal: greetings Russ. Function well do you not?
Russ: functioning quite well I might add.
Taal: good, good.
Russ: and yourself?
Taal: functioning excellent.
Russ: and Katrina and the little one?
Taal: Katrina is better, little one is many
headaches for both of us.
Russ: Katrina’s not a 100% yet?
Taal: no, she still has few, deep psychological
scars.
Russ: hmm.
Taal: but she starts patrolling in safe area soon.
Russ: hey great, it will be nice to get her air legs
back under her.
Taal: she spends lot of time in simulator trying to
get over fears.
Russ: hmm, it must be tough to get out of that
gun-shy mode.
Taal: gun-shy not problem, overly aggressive
problem.
Russ: why would that be a factor after the fact?
Taal: because the urge to get in to confirmed kill
can blind to other possibilities around.
Russ: hmm.
Taal: that in itself becomes hazard when you focus
in on one kill, one kill only, you are dead. Not see
the craft sneaking up behind or see blip on screen
moving in for kill. Or as Katrina’s teacher say,
beware of Hun in sun?
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: she spend lot of time with Baron.
Russ: well that’s good.
Taal: yes, very good.
Russ: he’s someone who’s seen it all.
Taal: correct, Baron understand better than I think
Katrina realize. Looking at Barron’s record, Baron
had same incident at one time.
Russ: hmm.
Taal: so I feel fortuitous to have Baron on base
that understand better then you, I or anyone
understand.
Russ: uh-huh yeah, he’s definitely seen it all but
how did he come around and fix it, did you ever find
out?
Taal: do not know, best ask Barron some time.
Russ: all right, I’ll be happy to.
Taal: surmise I that Baron might be way Baron is
because never truly overcome psychological problem?
Russ: hmm.
Taal: maybe that key to making of great pilot, who
knows?
Russ: now that could be a possibility though. Like
what was his record before the incident and his
record after the incident?
Taal: before good, after poor, passing of time
excellent.
Russ: interesting, there’s a pattern there
somewhere.
Taal: yes, I yet to see it but I know what you mean.
Russ: and you have never had an incident even coming
close to that right?
Taal: no, I am good pilot. After all, what is bad
pilot?
Russ: there is no such thing.
Taal: why?
Russ: because he’s a dead pilot.
Taal: good, you understand well.
Russ: oh yes, absolutely. Now with yourself, you
tend to follow the complete 360° around you at all
times.
Taal: correct.
Russ: so the key for maintaining that is to not
focus or put blinders on to just one direction and
one focus.
Taal: correct.
Russ: even though that might be taking all your
attention, it can’t take all your attention.
Taal: correct.
Russ: hmm, now doesn’t your ship back you up with
data feed and you'd have to actually ignore the
ship….
Taal: correct.
Russ: to miss any kind of dangers from around you?
Taal: but easy to do in heat of fight, battle. When
focus in on craft in front, have targeting….
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: on screen projected for side targeting what is
going on around. Way to understand. Put hand out at
arms length.
Russ: okay.
Taal: raise one finger, focus on finger. Do you see
that?
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: do you see that?
Russ: yeah.
Taal: do you see thing beside you out of window?
Keep focusing on finger.
Russ: no.
Taal: no turn head. Do you see feline near top of
stair?
Russ: no, where?
Taal: I thought feline near top of stair.
Russ: oh okay, no. I’m like wow, that’s good Taal,
you are really, really good.
Taal: but you see idea?
Russ: right yeah, I see what you’re talking about. I
mean I could see your hand move but I don’t know
exactly what you were doing. Like if you were
holding up one finger or something while you were
doing that, I didn’t see it.
Taal: no, it was just hand up and down.
Russ: oh okay, right.
Taal: but you see?
Russ: right.
Taal: you see it was movement but you focused on
finger.
Russ: right.
Taal: now say finger is......put arm back up as….
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: okay, focus back in on finger….
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: five, four, three, two, one, my hands are
enemy, you dead.
Russ: oh wow, that fast huh?
Taal: correct. Now as you were focused on finger did
you see hand come up?
Russ: not till it got to the halfway point.
Taal: from here you were dead.
Russ: man.
Taal: you have to be aware at all times. Eyes, ears,
feeling, hearing, all senses.
Russ: hmm, we kind of call that being in a groove.
Taal: yes, we call it line site.
Russ: hmm.
Taal: all you see is line of site, no aware of
around you.
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: I believe you pilots on your planet call it
situation awareness?
Russ: yeah, S.A..
Taal: very important. Katrina at moment have line of
sight.
Russ: hmm.
Taal: bad. I am being of too young to be widower.
Russ: no doubt.
Taal: and little one would miss mother tremendously
as would I.
Russ: hmm. Well, it’s fixable right?
Taal: yes.
Russ: time spent with the Baron is going to really
help that.
Taal: yes, Baron being harsh, very harsh.
Russ: well, will he fly with her during that safe,
first few patrols maybe?
Taal: unknown. It is hard when soulmate and bond
mate lie next to you and wet your shoulders with
tears, but necessary.
Russ: hmm, well let’s hope these conferences come
out good and you can take some of that anxiety out
of your patrols.
Taal: I see conference no difference in making of
our patrols. After all, did not Monka or Athena say
that nothing in essence changes?
Russ: nothing changes during the preliminary talks.
Taal: correct. How long did little one say
preliminary talks last?
Russ: oh.....
Taal: 10, 100…
Russ: yeah but that’s nothing compared to what your
lifespan is.
Taal: correct.
Russ: I mean my lifespan it's a different matter
altogether but I mean you guys will be able to deal
with that but her problem is a little bit more
immediate than that.
Taal: correct.
Russ: hmm, so what she really needs to do is focus
more on depending on the ship…..
Taal: correct.
Russ: instead of her own self.
Taal: correct.
Russ: hmm, so how is the simulator going to help if
she’s not inside her own ship?
Taal: it helps in the fact that she walk away from
mistakes.
Russ: well, is the ship tied into the simulator in
any way?
Taal: yes.
Russ: okay.
Taal: as through helmet.
Russ: oh good.
Taal: we have chip in here….
Russ: hmm.
Taal: that link us to helmet which links us to ship.
Russ: oh okay, I get it. So when you’re in the
simulator it’s as if you’re actually in your own
ship.
Taal: correct.
Russ: hmm okay. Well that will make a difference
then. Hmm, because doesn’t the ship have feelings
for when she gets killed simulator wise?
Taal: relief I believe….
(Russ starts laughing)
Taal: but it is not for real.
Russ: oh well.....
Taal: even though ship is machine, it is thinking
machine.
Russ: right. I mean we've talked about the ship and
the special link between you and it…
Taal: correct.
Russ: but it has to be able understand the
importance of failure and success…..
Taal: correct.
Russ: or else it wouldn't be able to do its function
and job.
Taal: and, it learned from her mistake and my
mistake when training.
Russ: oh really?
Taal: correct. It see where we go wrong, analyze
where we go wrong, come up with answer and input.
Russ: hmm okay.
Taal: each machine stores each mission.
Russ: hmm, so you play those back in your mind or
when you’re in the ship.
Taal: correct, it is great way of long, boring
patrols to spend time. Ship is aware of possible
dangers and you get to review and see where you made
mistake and improve.
Russ: hmm, now can the ship give you other people’s
experiences, mistakes they’ve made?
Taal: only when on base linked into systems.
Russ: hmm, because you can learn from others
people’s mistakes too.
Taal: yes, there is vast library here on our part of
base.
Russ: hmm okay. So you can…..let's say you have an
enemy that you haven’t faced before but other people
have…
Taal: uh-huh.
Russ: and you can go up and you can study
people…..those tactics from those battles and learn
from the different maneuvers you need to make for
each particular craft.
Taal: correct.
Russ: because each race doesn’t have the same craft,
they have different craft like you do.
Taal: correct, different craft do different
capability and maneuvers.
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: so, we work hard, have not yet met superior
maneuverability or superior skills.
Russ: how about superior craft?
Taal: there are superior craft but technical data is
restricted for you.
Russ: oh for me yeah but not for you.
Taal: correct.
Russ: right. So superior craft but not superior
pilots?
Taal: what did I just say?
Russ: yeah, it's restricted. Well it’s a
generalization, I don’t want any particulars. Okay,
so it sounds like as long as she’s patrolling the
safe area she shouldn’t have too much trouble,
should get her confidence back.
Taal: yes, one hopes.
Russ: hmm.
Taal: do not think down that avenue.
Russ: well, the most important thing is she gets her
confidence back, she gets her skills back…
Taal: correct.
Russ: and she becomes an excellent pilot like the
Baron.
Taal: yes, one hopes that in retirement both of us
sitting going, “ahh, those were the days.”
Russ: watching the little one going up and matching
your feats.
Taal: hoping yes.
Russ: how’s his little car coming along?
Taal: it is coming along fine, he soon gets implant.
Russ: oh, does he now?
Taal: yes.
Russ: hey congratulations.
Taal: uh-huh.
Russ: all right, that will be excellent.
Taal: yes.
Russ: he’s coming right along.
Taal: yes. Now, coming up soon, little one, Katrina,
myself make trip to Centauri. You coming?
Russ: uh-huh, I’m going to make the trip out there.
Taal: good.
Russ: it’s been a long time since I’ve been to
Centauri, it will be a good trip for me.
Taal: yes, it is R&R for us? I fly escort?
Little one in the same place as last time, sitting
up front with dad as it were.
Russ: uh-huh, well that will be neat. Where’s
Katrina going to be?
Taal: she fly transport.
Russ: oh she’s flying transport?
Taal: as she put it, she fly bus driver.
Russ: and then you all watch the races together.
Taal: of course.
Russ: oh, same as last year.
Taal: all part of rest and recuperation on Centauri
base. What would you people say down there? R&R
in Tokyo?
Russ: yep, R&R in Tokyo. Excellent, now that’ll
be really fun for you. When was the last time you
were on Centauri?
Taal: oh, few years back.
Russ: oh good, excellent. So a chance to see all the
old sites again.
Taal: yes.
Russ: all right Taal, excellent job.
Taal: looking forward to it much.
Russ: I am too. Going to do any skiing?
Taal: do some, little one learning as well.
Russ: all right, excellent.
Taal: when we get back little one go into med lab
for procedure.
Russ: oh, so his last moments here before he gets
the implant.....
Taal: correct.
Russ: and things will really change for him.
Taal: yes. He show aptitude that I like.
Russ: oh good, aggressive nature?
Taal: yes, some, he bested by little, not so little
threes with pointed ears (the Cubs of Mark and Tia).
Russ: oh really?
Taal: in his crèche?
Russ: uh-huh.
Taal: when in crèche, few can best him. When crèches
get together for exercise period only three best him
in fun.
Russ: and that would be the three little girls who
can match minds as one.
Taal: not as one, each individual one-on-one match
aggression level above.
Russ: oh really? Well.
Taal: I think it is nature of them.
Russ: yes. All right, well it’s nice to get a little
insight on how your child’s doing.
Taal: yes. Think a secret is fingernails.
Russ: and natural hunting abilities too.
Taal: correct. Think maybe when older they make
excellent pilots…..getting look from mother of
little ones.
Russ: I can imagine you would be. Well we'll put
them in a simulator someday and see what happens.
Taal: yes, entertaining no. Okay, time to be of
departing.
Russ: all right Taal, thank you very much. Have a
great time, I’ll see you on Centauri.
Taal: that you will. Dismissed.
Russ: farewell.
(Tia comes back for the speaker switch)
(Tia says hi in Durondedunn)
Russ: hey darling.
Tia: hey, how’s the recording?
Russ: good, we're almost out of tape. So little
girls going to fly someday huh?
Tia: phhtt.
Russ: they won’t actually make pilots, they’re not
born and raised to it.
Tia: no, true but you know very well that there is
an individual that wants to be a fighter pilot that
will never be a fighter pilot (Mark).
Russ: uh-huh.
Tia: and the anguish he gets through. I don't want
my little girls going through that.
Russ: well I think it runs in the blood.
Tia: if they have the aptitude yes but I don’t think
that as you put it they’re bred for it.
Russ: well they'd have to have a ship that would
mind meld with them.
Tia: uh-huh and from what I understand it starts…
Russ: it starts way before their age now.
Tia: uh-huh, starts when they’re like two and a
half.
Russ: uh-huh.
Tia: so, never happen for them.
Russ: well what’s your plans for them?
Tia: to let them do whatever they wish to do.
Russ: hmm, even if they want to be pilots?
Tia: hopefully they’ll be smart enough to understand
the dangers of it.
Russ: we’ll see.
Tia: huh?
Russ: we'll see.
Tia: yeah, we’ll see.
(Tia says goodbye in Durondedunn)
Tia: oh well, I suppose I better put on the next
speaker.
(Karra only has a bit of time
before the tape ends)
Karra: hello.
Russ: hello my love.
Karra: how are you doing?
Russ: good, real good.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: well rested anyway.
Karra: sorry?
Russ: well rested.
Karra: oh good.
Russ: and yourself?
Karra: not too bad.
Russ: good.
Karra: okay, so how is everything going?
Russ: quite well actually, I got a strange email….
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: if you'll remember.
Karra: yes, yes.
Russ: what do you want to do about that?
Karra: answer it.
Russ: well I know.
Karra: it’s all in the wording though. I honestly
think that communication as you are supposed to be a
communicator is the key. Now, for the record, it is
not so much in the email as the message in the
guestbook.
Russ: right, but it’s a private message.
Karra: uh-huh. Maybe both of you should answer.
Russ: hmm, good idea.
Karra: uh-huh. Send an email in the next few days
saying, "thank you for your interest, we will be
keeping in contact and giving you more information
as time goes by." Something like that.
Russ: it’s interesting, if you remember, when I was
getting older and older….
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: but in my younger years I would get rather
involved in certain things and devote my life to
them.
Karra: yes, well for a period of time.
Russ: yeah, a period of time I should say and wished
to devote my life for a period of time to other
things that I never got a chance to.
Karra: uh-huh.
SIDE
ONE ENDS
|
SIDE TWO
(Karra gets back on topic as
the tape gets going)
Russ: so I think that’s kind of how it should be
handled.
Karra: yes. Also there may be something else in
play here, there seems to be a feeling of
something else going on.
Russ: hmm.
Karra: you feel it?
Russ: uh-huh but I’m waiting for you to continue
on.
Karra: well I’m not going to because it’s just a
feeling and a hunch, it’s best to see how it plays
out.
Russ: okay.
Karra: and the impression I get is that she wants
to please, she wants to feel a part of doing
something important. She wants to be there at the
start of something.
Russ: hmm, which is kind of funny because that’s
how I thought everybody would feel.
Karra: uh-huh, she feels the way you think
everybody should.
Russ: right.
Karra: the enthusiasm.
Russ: right, which is why I don’t understand why
there’s only one. I just…..why is it just me and
Mark? I don’t get it.
Karra: it’s not just you and Mark.
Russ: I know, I know, it just seems like that
sometimes.
Karra: you’ve got to remember that when……oh my,
that’s a nice surprise…..when you have a
channeling session like now, all those people are
attending even though they won’t see it for a few
weeks. They are attending, they are present, they
are at the channeling session. They’re not asking
questions, occasionally they do but right now
they’re not asking questions even though they are
present.
Russ: hmm, good point.
Karra: you see?
Russ: uh-huh.
Karra: it’s important to remember that they are
attending channeling sessions.
Russ: hmm, uh-huh.
Karra: now you understand. It’s not just you and
Mark and occasionally Skip and Judy, it is you and
Mark, it is all those people that read the Hades
Base News.
Russ: so it’s not a meta-concert but it’s a
gathering of consciousnesses.
Karra: yes and because they’re spread throughout
your planet, they could never ever be in on a
channeling session because of the time
differences.
Russ: hmm.
Karra: but they are in on the channeling sessions,
they are here right now.
Russ: hmm.
Karra: you see?
Russ: in a esoteric sense yes.
Karra: uh-huh. Now we’ve just had a guest speaker
show up.
Russ: oh.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: okay.
Karra: so I’m going to step aside.
Russ: I assumed as much.
Karra: uh-huh. Keeping my mind closed is the key.
(Ed. note: so I won't guess who is on next)
Russ: yeah.
Karra: catch you later love.
Russ: okay love.
(Tia is on for one of her shortest transitions
yet)
(Tia says hi in Durondedunn)
(Alana is back and is very
pregnant)
Alana: hello.
Russ: hello……..Alana!!!
Alana: of course.
Russ: sorry love.
Alana: sorry indeed, sorry my tush.
Russ: we haven’t seen you in a while, you have
been rather preoccupied.
Alana: well I’m trying to get so much done before
the baby comes.
Russ: I understand.
Alana: we are so looking forward to.....being.
Russ: oh I’m glad to see you finally.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: welcome.
Alana: welcome?
Russ: again.
Alana: yes.
Russ: and how is our little one inside your
stomach there, are you in communication?
Alana: of course, constant communication. We are
waiting with anticipation for A, the escaping….
Russ: uh-huh.
Alana: and not feeling like I swallowed a melon
and being able to breathe real air instead of
amniotic fluids. That is the best way to describe
the feeling.
Russ: something special there then?
Alana: having talked with auntie Kiri, it’s not
the same feeling of expectation, it’s like
Miranda.
Russ: hmmm, okay.
Alana: yeah, I was hoping for more. In fact,
mother was saying that maybe if it’d been her as
it was supposed to be, then it would’ve been but
it choose me instead (they mean a super operant).
Russ: well it's a good choice I think.
Alana: well she’s a little confused.
Russ: hmm, how so?
Alana: well the fact that I explained to her about
her daddy and the arrangement and the fact….
Russ: I’d be confused
Alana: that mommy has a girlfriend as opposed to a
boyfriend.
Russ: right.
Alana: although……it’s hard to explain even to a…..
Russ: it would be hard to explain over tea to a
friend of yours.
Alana: uh-huh, it’s my choice.
Russ: of course it is my love. Well good. But she
is anticipating meeting her sister and brother?
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: good and her cousins…
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: and so on and so forth.
Alana: and the dolphins.
Russ: and the dolphins.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: and you can’t still go in the water.
Alana: no, the minds would drive her up the wall.
Russ: right.
Alana: so I sit on the side of the boat with my
feet in the water.
Russ: well that’s good.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: well soon enough.
Alana: yes soon, soon.
Russ: how much longer love?
Alana: about maybe five days.
Russ: that’s it?
Alana: uh-huh. 15th is the expected day but her
biggest complaint at the moment is that it's
cramped and she wants out.
Russ: well I don’t blame but it’s not her choice.
Alana: no.
Russ: who’s choice is it?
Alana: it’s a mutual agreement.
Russ: ohh, hmm. So when you both kind of just
agree?
Alana: yes.
Russ: okay.
Alana: I’m thinking back to a channeling session a
long, long time ago that I heard about of my
auntie talking to you and going, "oh" and then
carry on talking and telling you that her waters
had broke.
Russ: right, I remember that, that was Leonedies.
Alana: no it wasn’t, it was Alex.
Russ: oh it was Alex, that’s right. That was a
long time ago.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: damn.
Alana: yes, he will be six in April.
Russ: time flies.
Alana: yes it does.
Russ: that was the first too.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: now how’s your girlfriend accepting all
this?
Alana: she loves the idea of being a mother dad.
Russ: right, especially a new mother dad.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: not like adopted but like Miranda and Kevin.
Alana: in essence she helped to conceive.
Russ: oh, okay.
Alana: it’s hard to explain and I don’t expect you
to understand. Actually I’ve been coming more to
grips with my, what would the word be? Love for
other woman, what’s the word for that? Lesbian
tendencies?
Russ: I guess.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: female tendencies.
Alana: yes, female tendencies. I seem to be more
in tune…the idea of men, it's more along the lines
of just to procreate at the moment.
Russ: hmm.
Alana: yes, I wish I’d been in on that channeling
session with Sananda.
Russ: oh that was a classic.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: you read it on the net?
Alana: I watched it.
Russ: oh you watched it?
Alana: uh-huh. With my girlfriend, it is…..its
more than feeling complete. It’s knowing when,
knowing how, knowing the right amount of pressure
and so on.
Russ: it’s give-and-take.
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: and when two people are really in love and
really are in tune.....
Alana: uh-huh.
Russ: the give-and-take is perfect.
Alana: yes it is, it’s very much in tune. It’s
like playing a musical instrument, she plays me
like a flute and I play her like a flute. Being
somebody as I am that enjoys female company more
than male company…
Russ: uh-huh.
Alana: I understand that when I join…..it’s been a
while since I joined with a man.
Russ: right.
Alana: I mean it’s been nearly nine months and
it’s, it’s intense and it’s very enjoyable but
it’s intense and afterwards I feel spent and it’s
sort of like, "whew", let’s not do that for a
while. You see where I’m coming from?
Russ: right and with a woman?
Alana: with a woman it’s intense but longer, more
drawn out, more continuous whereas afterwards I
feel very spent and it’s sort of like, "whew", I
recover, I enjoyed that.
Russ: I see.
Alana: now I’ve got to go to the bathroom as my
bladder is about to break and as my bladder’s the
size of the pinky...
Russ: right. Well congratulations my love, I look
forward to hearing about your expected birth.
Alana: uh-huh. Unfortunately, this year I won’t be
able to go and watch what I want to do but
nevermind.
Russ: oh well.
Alana: I’ll be watching it all on holo disc in
transmissions.
Russ: okay.
Alana: okay…….
Russ: farewell.
(Tia returns to make her last change of speakers
for the night)
Tia: the night of unexpected guests?
Russ: uh-huh, any more?
Tia: not that I’ve seen.
Russ: okay.
Tia: okay, let’s put on the next speaker.
(Kiri
joins the session prior to the trip to Centauri)
Kiri: yo.
Russ: hi Kiri.
Kiri: yo.
Russ: how’s it going darling?
Kiri: it’s going good.
Russ: so Alana’s child, what relationship will
that be to you?
Kiri: she will be my niece?
Russ: okay.
Kiri: my sister’s, daughter’s child.
Russ: hmm, but your bond mate’s child also.
Kiri: uh-huh. There is no relation other than the
fact that my sister’s daughter’s so that would be
my great-niece?
Russ: grandniece.
Kiri: grandniece.
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: so how goes it my dear?
Kiri: it goes good.
Russ: good. Getting ready for the trip?
Kiri: yeah, I’m all set and dialed. I’ve got my
suit all done, team suits are all done.
Russ: are they?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: good job.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: did you put your little army of workers on
it?
Kiri: yeah. It’s red, dark red, dark blue, black
and white.
Russ: wow, colorful.
Kiri: uh-huh, legs are white.
Russ: a special Kiri designed team suit.
Kiri: uh-huh, well I did it last year for the
first time.
Russ: people will want to keep that for a while.
Kiri: oh they've got them kept.
Russ: yep.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: there should be a line of those.
Kiri: nope, because each one is custom-made.
Russ: oh.
Kiri: skintight.
Russ: now, how is your other business going?
Kiri: which one?
Russ: bikinis.
Kiri: bikinis?
The bikinis
are going good.
Russ: even in the winter huh? Well it's probably
summer somewhere.
Kiri: yes, it’s summer in the southern continent,
continents.
Russ: hmm and you have a line down there?
Kiri: of course, I’m planetwide. Let me rephrase
that, I’m interplanetwide, I sell on three
planets. How many people on your planet can say
that? In two different dimensions.
Russ: you sell on two different dimensions?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: where?
Kiri: bases in the fifth dimension.
Russ: yeah that’s true. Hmm, interesting.
Kiri: that’s only a technical point though.
Russ: oh yeah. So that’s kind of neat though.
Kiri: uh-huh. Actually, the funny thing is that on
the southern hemisphere they tend to go in for the
more risqué, the more hotter outfits.
Russ: oh, so you have to kind of design your line
for that?
Kiri: of course, you design the line for the
market.
Russ: hmm, so we’re talking what, strings?
Kiri: no, we’re going for three pieces and bikini
bottoms that are two pieces and so on.
Russ: a two-piece bikini bottom?
Kiri: uh-huh. Yeah, oh those are very, very hot
items.
Russ: a bit complicated to put on and off all the
time.
Kiri: no.
Russ: hmmm.
Kiri: you put one side on first and then the other
side.
Russ: I keep thinking of bikini clad beauties
modeling your line, I get this funny feeling you
know?
Kiri: like when you slide down the rope in gym
class?
Russ: yeah, that’s it.
(that gets Russ laughing)
Kiri: that was easy to pick out of your mind.
Russ: thank you dear.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: practice makes perfect.
Kiri: now poor Leah, poor Leah.
Russ: oh yeah, she’s heartbroken so far or just….?
Kiri: uh-huh, just missing her love interest.
Russ: melancholy.
Kiri: yes melancholy would be the word. It’s
funny, last night I was up comforting her….
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: and fortunately Mark got up and managed to
talk and chat to her and get her a little bit
calmed down. She was sitting there sobbing which
really made my heart bleed because she’s such a
sweet girl. It’s good to see her not as submissive
as normal.
Russ: still, Bunny really put the....put it to
that relationship…
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: got the spark lit.
Kiri: oh she certainly got the spark lit, fanned
the fire and got them going.
Russ: so why doesn’t they take a leave of absence
to Sirius?
Kiri: because she feels that her work is important
and besides, her professors won’t let her go
because she’s doing the second-year coursework
that she needs to get done and if she takes a
leave of absence that's going to throw that all
out of schedule.
Russ: ahh. Wait a minute, don’t you have that
hologram rooms?
Kiri: we have a small portable hologram in our
apartment, I use it for running flight simulations
and stuff. Flight simulations, programs, what else
do I use it for? Simulating experiments and stuff.
If I get an idea at four O'clock in the morning.
Russ: how big is it?
Kiri: oh we set up in the living room, it takes up
the whole entire living room. We have all the
furniture out of the way or we can have it in a
small area, depending.
Russ: hmm, well can’t you go find somebody else to
take the place for a little while?
Kiri: now who are we talking about?
Russ: the Ice Princess.
Kiri: ahh, but everybody else thinks that she
still is the Ice Princess. You’ve got to remember,
she’s the young lady that goes down to the
swimming pool that wears a wrap.
Russ: in that case she should wear one of your
two-piece bottoms and maybe a half a piece of the
third.
Kiri: no she wears a wrap.
Russ: oh well, it’s Leah.
Kiri: yes, Leah is a confused young lady.
Russ: hey and that’s on sixth dimension in the
fifth dimension….
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: imagine if she was down here in the third
trying to pull that one off?
Kiri: I think she would still be a virgin.
Russ: hmmm, well they'll meet soon for the ski
week.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: which is just not that far away is it?
Kiri: no.
Russ: next week right?
Kiri: starts Sunday. Unfortunately, I won’t be
here to see my niece have her baby.
Russ: bummer.
Kiri: my heats start on Monday.
Russ: nope you won't be.
Kiri: uh-huh. Finals are on Friday for the slalom,
Lyka’s is…..her heats I think start on Wednesday
and then the finals are on Sunday. Looking forward
to it, I’m skiing great at the moment.
Russ: are you?
Kiri: uh-huh. Spent the afternoon on the hill….
Russ: hmm.
Kiri: working real…..
Russ: is your time coming down at all?
Kiri: uh-huh, managed to shave 2/10’s of a second
off.
Russ: pretty good.
Kiri: uh-huh, I thought so too. Really burns my
legs though getting in tight to those poles.
Russ: large parts are there.
Kiri: uh-huh, slalom?
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: short, powerful turns?
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: uh-huh. The only thing that I’m worried
about is that we may have to move the whole entire
thing…..
Russ: to Sirius?
Kiri: yeah, the latest reports I got is that
they’ve got a unit and a half of snow. I think
it’s like three feet of your measurement to a
unit?
Russ: snow? I’ll take your word for it.
Kiri: so that would be four and a half feet.
Russ: damn, that’s a lot of snow.
Kiri: uh-huh, makes your El Niño look like a wimp.
Russ: well, what’s projected for the week’s
projection?
Kiri: unsettled weather.
Russ: hmm, could be anything.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: it could clear up too.
Kiri: uh-huh, it could, I’m hoping it does but if
it’s a howling gale so much the better for me.
Russ: why?
Kiri: that’s what I used to ski a lot of the time
in back home.
Russ: hmm, it's not going to help your skis out
though.
Kiri: they're regular skis, well I’m on regular
skis anyway.
Russ: yeah but I mean your wax, you need a special
wax for that.
Kiri: I formulated a special wax, when I was young
I formulated a special wax for it.
Russ: well let’s pray for gales.
Kiri: you’ve got to remember, where was I born?
Russ: the highlands, I know.
Kiri: uh-huh, from the highlands.
Russ: yeah but you didn’t have ski lifts.
Kiri: no we used to hike up the hills.
Russ: really?
Kiri: mind you, admittedly it was in the backyard.
Well, we called the backyard. You know that big
meadow behind us that climbs up very steeply?
Russ: oh yeah, the one in the story.
Kiri: uh-huh yeah, that’s where we used to ski.
Russ: hmm.
Kiri: it was great growing up when mother was
home. We’d hike up the hill and she’d hike up with
us and we’d ski down. I think she would’ve been a
great racer.
Russ: oh no doubt. Is Bunny going to Centauri?
Kiri: hmm I don’t know, I haven’t talked to her
for a while. Leah talked to her a couple nights
ago I believe.
Russ: well Lyka will be there, Leah will be
there….
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: Bunny will be there, you’ll be there…..
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: all the elements you need to really....plus
you have a nice winter scene….
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: I imagine a cabin with a fire.
Kiri: uh-huh. I’ve got some romance that I
planned.
Russ: you do?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: taking Mark off to a snowdrift?
Kiri: well yeah, I’ll take Mark off to a snowdrift
as well but there’s an old friend of mine that I
went to school with showing up that…..
Russ: oh, your old professor.
Kiri: no.
Russ: no?
Kiri: no, it’s a love interest that we never
consummated.
Russ: oh really?
Kiri: closest we ever got was making out.
Russ: what, have you contacted her lately?
Kiri: she contacted me actually, she’s on Centauri
base full-time.
Russ: oh is she?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: oh really?
Kiri: yeah.
Russ: and she’s on the team or…..?
Kiri: no, she’s not competing or anything, she saw
my name on the roster.
Russ: oh did she?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: all right.
Kiri: she contacted me that I was on the Hades
Base team and contacted me and everything and
asked if I was coming out and that I could stay at
her cabin if I wanted.
Russ: ahh interesting.
Kiri: yep. Her children will be there, not at the
cabin but they’re coming up.
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: and her bond mate is going to be there and
not be there.
Russ: what do you mean he’s not going to be there?
Kiri: well he’s going to be up there but he’s
going to be making the commute every day.
Russ: hmm, well interesting.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: I look forward to this.
Kiri: yes, I’m looking forward to it too.
Russ: I’ll have to add it to the new News.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: post the results like I did last year.
Kiri: yeah, Mark will have the results and
everything. But last time I talked to Lyka, she is
very, very hot.
Russ: really, she’s cooking huh?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: so she’s practicing on Sirius?
Kiri: uh-huh and she’s doing, she's got…..
Russ: so she’s using Sirius’s course.
Kiri: uh-huh. She’s got her company up there on
exercise which means that the……
Russ: the biathlon team.
Kiri: biathlon team is working out and it’s hard
to say who’s on the biathlon team.
Russ: why?
Kiri: because they’re doing winter exercises.
Russ: oh, so the whole squad's doing…
Kiri: the whole company.
Russ: the whole company is doing biathlon
training.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: geez.
Kiri: uh-huh. And in their free time they're
allowed to do skiing and of course as she’s the
only one that is from Hades Base there, right?
Russ: right.
Kiri: it’s hard for them to figure out what’s
going on. She’s got I think the biathlon team she
took with her this time.
Russ: right.
Kiri: under the auspices of doing Arctic warfare
training.
Russ: well that’s pretty good though.
Kiri: uh-huh so she’s up on the slopes doing
Arctic warfare training as well as in her free
time skiing and so is the biathlon team and of
course the biathlon team is all under assumed
names.
Russ: oh geez.
Kiri: and guess who they're skiing with?
Russ: who? The Sirians.
Kiri: biathlon team.
Russ: yeah.
Kiri: and they don’t know. Actually I wonder if
that would be considered cheating?
Russ: scouting out the other side?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: done all the time.
Kiri: yes but actually using your team to scout
out the other team to train with the other team.
Russ: doesn’t matter. I don’t know if you saw the
Olympics or not but the figure skating?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: they had the warm-up rink or the training
rink…
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: and they had the regular rink for the show.
Kiri: yeah.
Russ: but in the training rink, all the
competitors from all around the world would be
taking turns and all the coaches….
Kiri: would be sitting waiting for their....and
watching and......
Russ: right.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: sure, it’s perfectly allowed. At least our
Olympic style.
Kiri: well this isn’t an Olympic thing, it’s a
yearly thing and it’s just the Tri-Base races.
Russ: this is as close to the Olympics as you guys
are going to get for a while.
Kiri: uh-huh. I don’t like that idea of Mark’s.
Russ: why?
Kiri: I think it’s too much strain and work on
him.
Russ: I think it’s too much strain of work on
everybody.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: I mean it’s not…..
Kiri: you’d have to go to every two years at that
rate.
Russ: yeah.
Kiri: because it would take two years to get it
all organized and straightened up instead of nine
months.
Russ: uh-huh. I think you should have balloon
races, Tri-Base balloon races.
Kiri: (chuckles) where we going to hold it on
here?
Russ: well right there at Dolphin Lake.
Kiri: oh yeah right, the unpredictable nature of
those winds in there?
Russ: I think it’s perfect.
Kiri: you’ve only got at the top maybe 40 feet.
Russ: well yeah, imagine if you’ve got all these
other balloon teams from the other bases and you
have to meet at Hades Base.
Kiri: you’re a sick puppy.
Russ: you guys have got a home-field advantage.
(Russ is laughing pretty hard at this point)
Russ: just a thought dear.
Kiri: yes just a thought indeed. Okay…..
Russ: all right.
Kiri: as we don’t have very much time left on the
recording device.
Russ: we got Tia still to come on.
Kiri: yeah, we’ve got a few minutes.
Russ: good.
Kiri: where do you come up with these ideas? Not
from my sister I know that.
Russ: I know, she’s not really into that one. It’s
just a thought.
Kiri: the fact that we’ve have......out of the
three teams we have the worst medal count.
Russ: true.
Kiri: last year we came in third, the year before
we came in third.
Russ: right.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: well at least you’re consistent.
Kiri: yes, consistently in last place.
Russ: yeah but I mean you’ve had a lot of…..some
of the medals you did get were big medals.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: that’s what counts.
Kiri: yes, downhill.
Russ: and remember the races up on Sirius?
Kiri: uh-huh, guess who picked up the bronze?
Russ: yeah, see?
Kiri: uh-huh. I’m hoping to do better than that
and of course, the defending champion in the
downhill for what’s it? Four years in a row or no,
two years in a row.
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: and I think that she’ll do an awesome job.
She’ll defend her title for a third year in a row,
I think she's going to come off with the gold.
Russ: well I don’t but we’ll see.
Kiri: well she’s pushing hard now, she’s back to
how she used to be.
Russ: okay.
Kiri: I think Leah helped tremendously on that.
Russ: I don’t think she’s in top shape personally.
Kiri: oh, what are you doing on April the 29th?
Russ: I’ll be back from my vacation at that point.
Kiri: uh-huh, you want to go to a birthday party?
Special birthday party.
Russ: who’s birthday party?
Kiri: somebody turns 21.
Russ: oh really?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: who’s that, Leah or Lyka?
Kiri: Lyka.
Russ: hmm.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: well that’s going to be her whole platoon.
Kiri: and then some.
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: I’ve already got plans.
Russ: that could get a little crazy.
Kiri: oh yes. I know what we’re going to do.
Russ: well by then, Lyka and Leah will probably be
bonded.
Kiri: I think they’ll continue to keep it quiet.
Russ: think so?
Kiri: uh-huh. Well, Leah seems to want to portray
herself as very, very proper. She doesn’t even
wear any risqué skirts or shorts or anything. She
wears knee-length togas, if she wears trousers she
wears loose-fitting trousers, not too
loose-fitting. She wears a bra a lot of the time.
The only time that I’ve seen her without a bra is
at nighttime when she’s ready for bed.
Russ: who, Lyka does? Or Leah does?
Kiri: no Leah. Lyka on the other hand wears
formfitting clothes and if she goes swimming she
wears the tightest most sexiest outfit that she
can get her hands on.
Russ: when she’s not in uniform.
Kiri: uh-huh. When she’s in dress uniform those
trousers are tight anyway.
Russ: right.
Kiri: so, you know, she likes to show off her
body. It’s actually funny to see two individuals
that are as different as night and day in public.
In private it’s very much the opposite. Yeah, Lyka
from what I’ve seen is more submissive than Leah
is now.
Russ: really?
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: I wouldn’t have guessed that.
Kiri: yeah.
Russ: maybe.
Kiri: now there is an aggressive individual.
Russ: well yeah Lyka.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: it seems she got more mellower.
Kiri: yeah, she seems more mellower in her person
but I haven’t seen her do any training or anything
since she’s been back. She seems to spend a lot of
her time in her books.
Russ: hmm.
Kiri: but there again I’m also working on projects
and stuff and I basically see her in the evening
when she’s in the apartment now that she’s the
ranking officer.
Russ: yeah so she might be working out big time.
Kiri: oh yeah. From what I’ve learned, she likes
to be better than her soldiers.
Russ: well that’s understandable.
Kiri: uh-huh. Anyway……..
Russ: all right love.
Kiri: I need to go and freshen up.
Russ: have a good one.
Kiri: you too.
Russ: bye love.
(Tia uses the last of the tape
for an Earth update and question)
(Tia says hi in Durondedunn)
Russ: hi Tia.
Tia: yo, okay, we’ve got a few minutes. Don’t have
enough time for a dissertation apart from to say
that the onward and upward climb in the stock
market seems to be sliding. One thing that I can’t
understand is why the hell do they keep on putting
trading curbs in place every day?
Russ: well the gas prices sure are dropping.
Tia: uh-huh, well that’s to be expected but I’m
concerned on why are they putting trading curbs in
on a daily basis almost? That’s what it seems like
to me.
Russ: they really want to halt inflation.
Tia: that’s a bad sign, it’s like three days in a
row that I think they’ve had the trading curbs in
place and it is is very confusing.
Russ: especially for the traders.
Tia: uh-huh. What would’ve happened if the trading
curbs weren't in today or yesterday or the day
before and the last five days as a matter fact?
Russ: I don’t know, what?
Tia: I don’t know, I’m saying what would’ve
happened? So that suggests to me that somebody's
controlling the market.
Russ: someone’s always controlling the market.
Tia: no but more, more than they normally do.
Russ: you got me, I'll have to look into it
though.
Tia: yeah, now I could go on a dissertation on
perjury and lying to Congress and stuff but I
don’t have the time. I could also go into detail
on the markets. I could go into detail on how the
Lewinsky affair and the President's approval rate
basically shows that nobody really cares anymore
but alas, we don’t have the time.
Russ: well it’s all part of the moral degradation
of society.
Tia: yep, that’s the way I see it. Question I have
for you is, why don’t people care anymore huh?
Russ: well because there’s just so much out there
to care about, you have to pick what you care
about very carefully nowadays.
Tia: so in another words they’re all cared out?
Russ: yeah.
Tia: hmm.
Russ: no, they care about, very deeply about
certain things and other things don’t care
anything about.
Tia: yeah, it strikes me more along the lines of
they talk about the ‘80’s, the Reagan presidential
thing as being the me time, what about me? It
strikes me that the ‘90’s seem to be more like
that than the ‘80’s were.
Russ: hmm, it’s possible.
Tia: that the ‘80’s weren't the time of greed, the
‘90’s were or are. I mean if you look at it right?
You have a president that does everything for
himself. I want this, I want that and it strikes
me that the Reagan presidency, comparing it, you
can’t. Ronald Reagan was more helpful towards
people, tried to do more for the people and to do
it without self-satisfaction whereas this
presidency seems to be everything is a crisis,
everything is for the president. This strikes me
more of the presidency of greed then the Reagan
presidency. Far more the presidency of greed. And
the thing is that in the ‘80’s people cared about
it, people cared about the presidency and the fact
that when there was a scandal it was a big who ha
ha whereas now, there seems to be a scandal on a
daily basis and nobody cares.
Russ: well they don’t want to get Gore in as the
president.
Tia: who knows?
Russ: yeah they'd just be fighting an incumbent
battle, they don’t want to do that. They’d rather
just go…..
